A funny film to watch is Hootenanny Hoot, Predictable comedy about college hootenanny show carried to Television is made bearable only by presence of Cash and other actors. This is one of Sam Katzman's "characteristic" low-budget movies. Cast includes Gene Nelson, Peter Breck, Joby Baker, Rita Lee, Pam Austin, Johnny Cash, Sheb Wooley, The Brothers 4, and Judy Henske.

The General Died at Dawn is a cool play of Oriental intrigue, with mercenary Cooper falling in love with foreign agent Carroll when fighting menacing warlord Tamiroff. Cast Gary Cooper, Madeleine Carroll, Akim Tamiroff, Dudley Digges, Porter Chamber, and William Frawley.

For Love of Ivy is about a family that needs to retain their servant, so they find her a man to keep her happy. The movie is a ho-hum black romance at best. Cast includes Sidney Poitier, Abbey Lincoln, Guy Bridges, Leon Bibb, Nan, Martin, Lauri Peters, and Carroll O'Connor.

Bopha Anxious, charming outburst with Glover and Woodard who played Nelson and Winnie Mandela in the Television movie MANDELA starring as a married couple residing in a peaceful South African town. He's a patrol officer who maintains the status quo; their planet is sure to collapse while their youngster Ezia takes part in a rebellion divergent to the control and curriculum of the neighborhood off-white-run school. Cast includes Morgan Freeman, Danny Glover, Malcolm McDowell, Alfie Woodard, Marius Weyers, Maynard Eziashi, Malick Bowens, and Grace Mahlaba.

Happy Gilmore is a funny film about hockey player Happy Gilmore who finds his slap shot power translates into 400 yard plus drives in golf. Needing money to help his grandma save her house, he is going to try pro golf. His putting is as dreadful as his driving is good, so he has a lot to learn. Overcoming all odds, Happy wins the tour championship and now can save grandma's house.
